This horse is a rodeo horse I'd photographed a few years ago. He was with several other horses, and I'd seen the photo hundreds of times. Then lately, I was feeling uninspired and decided to look through some of my old references, and bam! Just like that, standing among the other horses, this one stood out and I immediately knew what I was going to paint! So, here's the final result.
